  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

We've moved on to new pastures, and we'd love it if you'd join us. We're building a site for Keystone, the new arena shooter from Digital Extremes (of Warframe fame). Join us at keystone.gg!

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

Ahoy! We're still very much working on this page as part of the Dawnbase overhaul. It'll look terrible until it's done. Sorry!

    Hello all!

IC is my first experience with a MOBA. I have to say that I am enjoying it! I've been playing since Beta and am constantly trying to improve my skills. I live in GH. The gameplay there just suits me perfectly.

For anyone who might care, I may try to throw together some guides on the chars I do decent with.

INTRO Hello all! This is my first guide here on Dawnbase. So I figure who better to start with than my fav champ, Atrocitus - THE BIG RED MACHINE! I see Atrocitus as more of a power damage bruiser rather than a true enforcer. To me, his survivabili... Read more

I, for one, am definitely opposed to this map enforcing system Turbine seems to want to implement. I took the entire week off from Infinite Crisis during Coast City week. I just didn't want to play it. I don't like being forced into playing a map I'm not fond of. If I want to sit around and queue for the same map over and over, I should not be penalized for it.

I'm all for promoting other maps and helping grow the population of those who enjoy playing said maps. However, I think this could be accomplished by something like a double merit week or weekend for one map. That way people can continue to queue for the maps they may prefer, but can receive an added bonus if they venture out into the map being promoted instead. Removing options from folks and telling them "NO! YOU HAVE TO PLAY THIS INSTEAD!" is not the best approach, IMO.

And I know I could just get nine other folks together and do a custom game, but I'm too lazy to do that. I think most other people would be, too.
